I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the pool was nice and clean. It's so great that the beach was just a short walk away, and there were lots of restaurants and bars nearby, making it super convenient for grabbing a bite to eat or a drink. 🏝️

This is an absolute hidden gem. Family-owned small hotel in the heart of Karon Beach, yet in a peaceful area. A couple hundred meters and you are on the main restaurant street - 500 meters more and you are on the beach. A lovely and very kind young couple (with a very lovely little kid hanging around in the reception!) was hosting this hotel that must be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been in. The rooms were basic but very nice. Private balcony for each room. A small but very nice pool in the inner court yard. And the price was incredibly low.
No breakfast or other restaurant services. But this hotel has made a choice - it offers good accommodation and they concentrate on it. Breakfast is found on nearby restaurant street with little money.

Nice room with a nice pool outside.5 minutes to the main road and another 5 to the Kalon beach.Good restaurants on the main road.And the owner is very nice and helpful.
Small insects in the room.The place for bathing is too small.

We had an enjoyable week at Baan Chaylay. Friendly receptionist, clean room, nice balcony, refreshing pool, great location near shops and restaurants, short walk to the beach.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Very clean, in the heart of Karon for food and beach, hillside views from higher level balconies and very pleasant and friendly staff.
The hotel is very good, but the food and other travel costs such as transport and tours is more expensive than other tourist areas like Patong, Chalong annd Rawai. Make sure you do not pay more than 700thb for a taxi from Karon to airport.
